- A former nurse who has already admitted to killing 24 patients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania has remembered that he killed another five. A lawyer for Charles Cullen, 45, explained that his client believed that his victims were terminally ill and that it was dehumanising to prolong their lives by artificial means. He was also depressed and having a hard time, a police detective explained. Cullen was arrested in December 2003.
