Another dispatch from the front lines of assisted reproduction: a British former pole dancer who miscarried Osama bin Laden’s twin grandchildren last year is pregnant again with the grandson of the world’s most wanted terrorist. It’s the fifth time Louise Pollard has undergone IVF to provide bin Laden’s son Omar, 30, and his British wife Zaina, 55, with a child. The Daily Mail relayed the story from the authoritative journal Sunday People. Ms Pollard has been a surrogate twice before and worked as a pole dancer to get herself through higher education.

Last year Ms Pollard called it quits. But a tearful hour-long conversation with Zaina changed her mind. She said: “Zaina told me I was beautiful and I was the only woman who could have her baby in the world. She said she couldn’t do it with anyone else. She was absolutely devastated and just begged me over and over again.”

Life as a surrogate mother isn’t all work and no play. At a secret location in the Middle East Ms Pollard had time for recreation. “At one point I was sitting there playing Call of Duty on the PlayStation with Omar and I just sat there and thought, I’m playing video games with Osama Bin Laden’s son!
