A Surrogate mother in UK says she is ‘addicted’ to pregnancy, after giving birth to three surrogate children in two years.
37-year-old Tara Sawyer first became a surrogate in 2011, when she donated her own egg to a gay couple and impregnated herself with their sperm. Shortly after giving birth to a girl, she found another needy couple and became pregnant again – this time with twins. The twins were delivered healthy in January.
Sawyer says she feels “thrilled” when pregnant, and that she is physically at her best during that time. “It’s a huge rush from the moment the test comes back positive.” She said. “I feel at my best physically when I’m pregnant…I take vitamins, go swimming, do yoga and eat healthily.”
“I won’t stop until my womb falls out.”
Sawyer says her husband has been very supportive of her throughout the pregnancies. She is currently corresponding with another gay couple and hopes to be pregnant by the end of the year.
