A new website opposed to assisted suicide and euthanasia brings together useful information about the status the law in the various American states. “Choice is an Illusion” provides up-to-date information about what is happening in the United States, especially Washington, Oregon and Montana and other states where there are current legislative initiatives. Behind the initiative are Margaret Dore a former chair of the Elder Law Committee of the American Bar Association Family Law Section, Alex Schadenberg, of the Canada-based Euthanasia Prevention Coalition; and William Reichel, a geriatrician and bioethicist.
