For Alan and Brian (no surnames in the Times
of India article), Rotunda, which they found on the internet, was a godsend. The
price was relatively cheap, a surrogate mother offered her eggs, and there was
no dispute over the citizenship of the children.

India is highly cost-competitive for IVF. Dr Gautam Allahbadia, of the Rotunda Clinic, says,
”Cost is a huge factor, our costs are a third or fourth of what Thailand offers
and a eighth or tenth of what US offers.”

The children’s
future seems secure, according to media reports. “The babies will learn
sign language from us, but we will also teach them to talk with the help of a
special computer,” said Brian. ~ Times of India, June 14
